Funding

The VEIPD Center, funded through a contract with the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) at the Partnership for People with Disabilities, is maintained as part of Virginia's Comprehensive System of Personnel Development (CSPD) for early interventionists who provide supports and services to eligible children and families under Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
